Hometown Veterinary Partners was founded in 2023 with a mission to empower veterinary professionals by building veterinary hospitals which inspire, uplift, and fulfill. Were hiring Associate Doctors to provide care in veterinary hospitals right where you live. Youll earn a competitive salary in addition to a full suite of benefits that start at 30 hours a week. We have tremendous opportunities for growth and to move into a Partner Doctor position in which youll operate your own Hometown Veterinary Partners hospital.

Building upon our core beliefs, youll bring your experience as a veterinarian and your passion for growth and improvement to this exciting environment where youll mentor, lead, and make a difference not only for pets patients and owners, but also for the entire care team. We are building a group of truly local hospitals and with it a network of highly-motivated, visionary, and entrepreneurial veterinarians and operations leaders.

We provide services six days/week which include: appointments, scheduled surgeries, and preventative care days. Our DVMs have flexibility to swap shifts with teammates to maintain a healthy work-life balance. For those that like surgery (welcome but not required), we will have many opportunities!

How youll be making an impact
- Give input, ideas, and suggestions for continual improvement of the practice environment for the care team, patients, and pet parents
- Provide a positive and exceptional client experience
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of animal cases
- Perform small animal surgeries, if desired, with opportunities for mentorship
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and collaborate work environment
- Guide and utilize exceptional support staff
- Provide leadership in the development or review of medical policies and protocols
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited program
- Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of operation
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Effective communication skills
- Positive team player who motivates staff by listening, respecting, and encouraging
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
