Overview:

We will be providing an Internship in our Real Estate department. The Intern will utilize their academic and personal skills to define overall opportunities for process efficiencies and help structure for RFP process. The right candidate will have a sense of urgency and a strong commitment to delivering best in class service.

The goals of this internship will be to acquire knowledge on Banking Real Estate processes. Internships will run during Summer 2024 months for 10-12 weeks. Interns are expected to work 40 hours per week.

About You:

• Customer Service: You will provide support to the primary daily processes and regulatory requirements of the accounting department, including accounts payable, general ledger accounts and general ledger reconcilements.
• Teamwork: Your ability to encourage and exchange creative ideas, to provide practical solutions to problems, will be used to promote innovation.
• Communication: Your effective communication style will be used to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

What You Will Learn To Do During This Internship:

Review of Process in Operations specific to: Processing, Underwriting, Pricing and Servicing.

Analytica, Mathematics, Visio, Microsoft product suite, Time Management and Willingness to pivot and learn new skills

Project To Be Completed During Internship:

• Review End to End Real Estate Process as a precursor to goin into RFP for potential LOS platform. Refine Process Maps and identify automation opportunities and bottlenecks in Process. Do complete measurement of Six-Sigma Level process is working at and develop or refine new reports showing progress. Maintain DMAIC Dashboard and process methodology.

What We Are Looking For:

• Intern is required to be a current Junior or Senior level university student enrolled in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Process Engineering or related program.
• A current GPA of 3.0 or above is required
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Advanced Excel, MS Office Suite are required
• Any academic knowledge or focus specific to the assigned department will be a determining
• Availability to work the Credit Union’s core business hours
