Job Description: We are looking for a construction project manager candidate to join our dynamic team in the metal framing and drywall division in our Southern California (Los Angeles) location. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a challenging and rewarding role that offers excellent growth opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of construction projects, including budget, schedule, quality control, safety, and team coordination.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure work is progressing according to schedule and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and proactively communicate with the project team.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Manage project closeout and ensure all required documentation is completed and submitted on time.
  • Be a team player

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management tasks, with a focus on metal framing and drywall.
  • General knowledge of construction codes and safety standards
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Wage Scale: Between $80,000 and $120,000 depending on education and experience.
