Job Title: Esthetician/Lash Technician

Reports to: Director of Luxury Spa & Wellness

Status: Non-Exempt

Job Type: Full-time and part-time, seasonal

Position Summary: Estheticians, or Aestheticians, are skincare experts who provide skincare services to clients to improve the look and feel of their skin. Their duties include consulting with clients to select an appropriate treatment, preparing a sanitary environment before a procedure and offering treatments such as facials, extractions, chemical peels, select body treatments and waxing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities is to provide exceptional professional service to Mountaintop members, guests, and staff.

• Evaluate a customer’s skin condition and offer recommendations for treatments.
• Recommend skincare products to customers.
• Perform all esthetic services- facials, waxing, body treatments.
• Deliver excellent service to all members and guests.
• Esthetician/ Lash Technician must maintain a flexible schedule and be able to work days, evening, weekends, and holidays when needed.
• Please, no days off on Fourth of July Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, or Labor Day Weekend. The Spa Director will do everything possible to address schedule considerations with all Spa and Fitness team members to ensure quality of life and a schedule that accommodates members and guests.

Qualifications:

• Must have a current NC esthetics license and updated CEU’s
• Previous experience in a spa setting preferred
• Positive attitude

Education and Experience:

• Current NC Esthetic License
• Current NC Cosmetology Liscense/Lash Certification (if applying for Lash Technician position)
• 2+ years' experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
