Job Description
The Lynden Door sales team is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative position who will deliver the highest level of customer service and sales support, thereby strengthening customer relationships and contributing to profitable new business opportunities for the organization. The responsibility of the Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative is to concentrate on the reputation of the organization and achieving total customer satisfaction through creative approach and active experience. They will collaborate with inter-departmental team members to deliver industry-leading customer service and sales support to Lynden Door's customers.
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Position Responsibilities:
- Positively address customer concerns and / or questions
- Coordinate resolution on escalated customer issues
- Cooperatively interact with purchasing and production departments to evaluate costs and procedures required to successfully fulfill order requirements
- Administer sales product samples, pre-finish samples and product literature
- Process order delay communication to customers
- Work with Pillar II to speed up internal remakes and field issue replacements
- Prepare routine estimates under general supervision for the purpose of winning commercial projects for Lynden Door
- Verify orders for accuracy of date and scheduling.
- Execute systems, utilize documentation and information work flow
- Order Processing:
- Process change orders & credits
- Support product shipping logistics
- Distribute appropriate information to required departments
- Develop expertise with industry specifications
- Execute special projects related to marketing
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Core Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organization skills - ability to productively work on multiple tasks
- Knowledge of Door Industry, Products and Services preferred
- Creative and solution-oriented problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well with internal & external customers even in tense or aggressive situations
- Customer Service oriented/attention to accuracy, detail, quality and service
- Experience with Office Systems, Business Machines and Computers
- Working knowledge of spread sheets for estimating, costing, analysis preferred
- Pleasant disposition, flexible and even-tempered, positive outlook
- High moral integrity
- Commitment to contribute, grow and succeed in a team environment
- Willingness to pursue additional training, classes, etc. to enhance skills
