Spring Arbor Senior Living of Kinston, NC is seeking qualified Food Service Server and Prep team member responsible for preparing desirable and healthy foods for residents, team members and guests.

  • Must be minimum of 16 years of age
  • Flexibility to work early morning/mid-day and mid-day/ early evening
  • Availability to work rotating weekends both Saturday and Sundays
  • Experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred
  • Outgoing, well-groomed individual, with pleasant, friendly, and helpful demeanor
  • Patience and desire to work with seniors
  • Dependable

WHAT YOU WILL DO!

  • Prepare meals adhering to daily menus and modified resident diets
  • Greet residents and guests upon entering the dining room
  • Serve food and drinks to residents and guests in a timely manner utilizing proper serving techniques
  • Bus tables in a timely and proper manner
  • Assist in preparing, plating, covering, and labeling food
  • Ensure dining area is presentable with clean and neatly arranged table cloths, tables and chairs
  • Wash dishes, load and unload dishwasher, return dishes to appropriate storing places
  • Ensure all supplies, condiments, crackers, etc. are restocked for the next shift
  • Wrap silverware
  • Vacuum the dining room after each shift
