Robert Half, partnering with a rapidly expanding company, is looking for someone to support local and field users as a Help Desk Analyst. You will thrive at solving problems in a dynamic and rapidly-changing work environment as a Help Desk Analyst. Due to this Help Desk Analyst role having a large amount of visibility within the company, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the department and organization. This Help Desk Analyst role is located in the Syracuse, New York area and is a long-term contract to hire opportunity.


How you will make an impact


- Independently investigate and implement solutions to technical issues


- Provide solutions and follow up on technical help tickets submitted via phone, email, and walk-ups


- Diagnose recurring technical issues and implement solutions to address the root of the problems


- Offer IT support for operating systems, productivity software, and a variety of other applications used internally

- Prior experience with IT support ticketing systems

- Demonstrated knowledge of user administration and bug fixing in a client server environment

- Demonstrated excellence in installing and configuring operating systems, networked and local printers, and business applications

- Comprehension of basic networking concepts

- Basic Troubleshooting experience

- Technical Support experience desired

- Expertise in Point of sale

- Ability to recognize, evaluate, and resolve problems effectively
