Shipping & Receiving Specialist

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Prepare shipping documents and coordinate freight transactions
• Maintain shipping records and provide tracking information to customers
• Utilize shipping software for order transactions and label outgoing material
• Review and coordinate customer orders with manufacturing
• Ensure proper revenue recognition and select carriers for cost-effective shipments
• Resolve customs clearance issues for export/import materials
• Stay updated on international regulations and update SOPs as needed
• Enter data into an automated inventory control system
• Assist in shipping/receiving areas, acting as a group leader when needed
• Perform related duties as required

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 2-5+ years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year of shipping experience
• Knowledge of US Export Administration Regulations and export document preparation is a plus
• Proficiency in shipping software (e.g., UPS, DHL, FedEx)
• Oracle experience is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to prioritize work effectively
• Ability to work under pressure with excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving ability and capacity to evaluate solutions
