As a Project Manager, Marketing – HIV Prevention, you will be a key contributor to a fast-paced marketing team responsible for developing insights, brand management, and execution excellence to drive urgency to start HIV prevention while supporting a product launch.This position is in Foster City, CA. The individual in this role will:Support overall launch coordination & tracking of key milestones, including identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise, as determined by the Senior Director, across marketing and all functional teams in USManage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure the timely and successful executionSupports timely communication of launch activitiesSupports the creation of presentations and other internal launch-related updates for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholdersSupports meeting management by scheduling meetings, developing agendas, gathering content, taking notes, and distributing meeting minutesCoordinate with external vendors, agencies, and contractors to support launch initiativesPartner closely with all cross-functional teams across all levels of the organizationMay support the development of select materials and tactics for external customers as determined by the teamStrong desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentProven ability to work well as part of a teamDemonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on the development of marketing materialsExperience managing cross-functional and internal stakeholders such as Regulatory, Medical, Legal, Market Research, Training, Public Affairs, Sales, and the Community Liaison TeamSets priorities in circumstances of continued complex and conflicting requirements, provides logical recommendationsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree and Seven Years’ ExperienceORMasters' Degree and Five Years’ ExperiencePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience highly preferredDemonstrated excellence in project management, including prioritization and execution highly preferredExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, highly preferredAdvanced communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate both orally and written highly preferredThrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment highly preferredListens carefully to other points of view and can adapt style and content based on audiences' highly preferredProficient in Excel and PowerPointPrior product launch experience is preferredFamiliarity with marketing fundamentals, strategy, sales, and commercial policies and practicesPrevious experience in the pharmaceutical industry is desiredComfortable discussing topics in the HIV category, including sex, sexual orientation, mental health, and substance use highly preferredAbility to travel 15-20% of timePeople Leader Accountabilities •Create Inclusion - knowing the business value of diverse teams, modeling inclusion, and embedding the value of diversity in the way they manage their teams.•Develop Talent - understand the skills, experience, aspirations, and potential of their employees and coach them on current performance and future potential. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
