Job Summary
The Westin Jackson is looking to hire a Steward to join our amazing team. This is a part-time, hourly, individual-contributor role with flexible hours. The Steward is responsible for keeping all kitchen equipment and surrounding areas clean at all times, as well as to manage the dishwashing process and operations according to Westin Hotel standards.

This is an hourly position, with the rate of pay commensurate with experience. Responsibilities
• Perform dishwashing duties in accordance with Westin standards
• Ensure kitchen equipment and surrounding areas are kept clean at all times
• Maintain a safe and hygienic work environment
• Assist and support other team members with tasks as needed
• Adhere to all safety procedures
• Assist with set-up and break-down of the dishwashing equipment
• Monitor the supply and replenishment of dishwashing supplies
• Perform general janitorial duties as needed

Requirements
• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Possess excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Have good customer service skills
• Understand the importance of safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in the kitchen
• Must be able to use all dishwashing equipment and materials safely
• Have the ability to stand for long periods of time
