As a member of our team, you'll be immersed in the world of industrial pipe, valves, and fittings (PVF) and commercial plumbing products, gaining extensive knowledge and expertise that is second to none.

About the Job:

Distribution Responsibilities Include:

• Checks material received via Motor Freight Carriers, UPS/FedEx or customer returns.
• Pulls orders for shipment from warehouse and pipe yard inventory utilizing order picker or forklift equipment.
• Stages and prepares orders for shipment while ensuring the items are packaged neatly.
• Completes all shipping paperwork and computer entry promptly monitoring closely for any quality discrepancies.

Driver/Delivery Responsibilities Include:

• Loads & Secures orders onto Eastern vehicles.
• Maintains Daily Truck logs including all safety and pre-trip checklists.
• Delivers orders to local customers and other Eastern Distribution Centers.
• Maintains phone & GPS contact with the supervisor to communicate delivery instructions or updates.
• Inspects truck equipment & performs emergency roadside repairs when needed.

What We Need From You:

• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or GED; strongly prefer at least 1 year of related warehouse, forklift, and delivery driving experience; Flatbed, Box Truck or Dually experience is required.
• Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer knowledge and experience.
• Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Medical Certificate/Health Card following Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations. Valid Driver's License.
• Location: You must live within a reasonable distance from the Distribution Center. This job is NOT remote and requires you to enter the center every workday.
• Physical Ability: You must be able to lift up to 50lbs and perform functions such as crouching, kneeling, and balancing. And operate a forklift
