 Premier Automotive of Seaside is apart of the Premier Automotive Group that consists of 20+ dealerships across CA, TX, LA, KS, and MI. We support the Monterey County community through partnering with the Giving Hope Foundation. Each year, we provide our employees with 8 hours of paid time to serve their community, which could be used at our weekly food drive that serves the Seaside community or another service event you are passionate about.

This position is hourly + commission (details at the bottom). This may be a temporary position with the possibility of receiving an offer for a full time position after 90 days.

Job Duties

  • Act as a liaison between the customer and service technician-ensuring the best customer service is provided
  • Greeting customers as they arrive in the service drive
  • Check customer in and out using iPad and computer systems, taking pictures and looking for damage
  • Creating and opening repair orders for customers
  • Utilize your knowledge of our products and services to sell and upsell customer services
  • Answering questions about scheduling, booking, and vehicle pick-up
  • Calling customers and following up with them about updated pick-up times and service changes
  • Updating Axcessa with detailed notes daily with review for Service Manager every Friday
  • Create positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business
  • Liaising with service technicians and parts department to ensure parts are ordered and have arrived 
  • Collect payment from customers

Qualifications

  • Hyundai and/or Chevrolet Experience Preferred
  • Must have superb customer service skills
  • At least 1 year in automotive or a service advisor position
  • Valid driver’s license and fairly clean driving record (no major violations)
  • Be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must pass drug screening, MVR, and background check

The Advisor position has a pay scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly compensation of $15.50. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
