Job Description
Summary: Seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic with specialization in mechanical and electrical aircraft systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements:
Possession of an Airframe and Powerplant license.
Proficiency in the use of hand tools, air tools, and aircraft manuals.
4 years of related experience.
Preferred Skills:
Heavy aircraft maintenance experience.
Experience with DC-9 / MD80 aircraft is a plus.
Familiarity with rivet tools, sheet-metal and machine tools (such as shears, breaks, notchers, saws, milling machines, lathes etc.), as well as measuring tools and test instruments.
Job Responsibilities:
Installation, testing and repair of mechanical and electrical aircraft systems.
Performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for complex systems such as airframe and engine(s), ground vehicles etc.
Working from engineering drawings and assisting in their development.
Reading and interpreting mechanical fabrication and installation drawings.
Carrying out installation and troubleshooting of various mechanical systems on military and FAA fixed wing aircrafts.
Utilizing basic hand tools for sheet metal modification.
Pay: 20-26

Pay Details: $20.00 to $26.00 per hour
