We are looking for someone that has a passion for working with children and families, like the idea of a flexible working schedule, and want to make your community a safer place for our children.

Then Texas Family Initiative has the job for you!

What are we looking for exactly? A full time Permanency Case Manager to work with our communities most vulnerable children and families. You will put your accredited Bachelor’s Degree (required) and Valid Drivers License (required) to use. We provide a 13-week training program, including pairing with a mentor, that has a variety of learning opportunities such as field experience, in-office experience, and classroom training.

A Day in The Life as a Permanency Case Manager

As a Permanency Case Manager, you will provide support and guidance to families experiencing foster care, while promoting the achievement of permanency of our children who are in the Managing Conservatorship of DFPS. You will work with biological parents to identify services to help them be successful at a time in their lives where they may feel hopeless. A Permanency Case Manager focuses on the needs of the family including safety issues, so a family can assume the role of parenting their children. If this is not possible, the focus then becomes achieving safe permanency for our children in the most family-like setting. A Permanency Case Manager will conduct monthly home visits, attend Court Hearings, work with Stakeholders in the community, among other tasks. You will work with a network of family members, community resources, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), and more, to create long lasting partnerships with our families.

What We Are Looking For

2INgage is looking for individuals who can display empathy, are eager to learn, and want to help our families be successful in their time of crisis. We want someone who is able to advocate for our parents/caregivers, and children experiencing foster care, to ensure they have the best chance at achieving permanency for their families.

Why you should work for Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions

We offer a wide variety of benefits, including flexible scheduling! We also provide you with 20 days of personal leave in your first year of employment and 25 days after completion of year one as well as 12 paid holidays!
