Through a Partnership with the State of Delaware/Governor’s Office and the Delaware Department of Transportation, The WADEAP program is for our re-entry population and focuses on litter abatement on the roadways of Delaware.
There are 3 positions. All 3 positions pick-up litter along the roadways to help keep Delaware Litter-Free.
Driver & Back-up Driver - $15 to $16 an hour
Schedule: Mon - Thurs from 7am to noon
Location: Dover De
To be eligible to be a Driver or Back-up Driver, you must have a valid Driver's License with a clean MVR. Previous driving experience and must be able to pass a drug test. This position is considered a lead position.
Daily duties: van inspection to include all safety requirements; ensure all members of the crew are wearing appropriate PPE, on site assignment of self and crew to most efficiently complete the daily requirements; appropriate communication with crew and program leadership. Plus, the below Duties.
Laborer - $13.25 an hour - See below for Duties.

FINGER DEXTERITY: The ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands and wrists.
TALKING: Talking to others to convey information effectively and to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
AVERAGE VISUAL ABILIITES: The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
PHYSICAL STRENGTH: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
