Because some of the responsibilities will include anesthesia monitoring, blood draws, IV catheter placement, assisting in surgery, pharmacy, lab work, dentistry, performing radiographs, etc. it is necessary that you have previous history or education as a Veterinary Technician or Assistant. Client communication skills are of the utmost importance, as we are passionate about our pets and giving our clients the best customer service available.

Requirements:

• I.V catheter placement
• Venipuncture
• Running in-house lab work
• Processing reference lab samples
• Understanding of veterinary pharmacology
• Client communication and education (excellent written and verbal skills)
• Knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to decipher medical records
• Evenings, and rotating Saturdays
