This position responds to customer needs daily and is responsible for the daily upkeep of hardware and software and inventory in a professional environment. The candidate should have experience in prioritizing multiple tasks at once and be able to work in a high paced environment.

Responsibilities

Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots operating systems and application software on all office computers.

Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots hardware on all office computers and peripheral equipment, including but not limited to network printers, scanners and UPS devices.

Provides end-user training and support for application software and hardware. Documents business process for all job tasks. Performs other duties as assigned.

Maintains inventory of hardware and software, including the hardware components, software product, version, service and license agreements and all network equipment. Performs work in support of any audio/visual and conferencing needs for the organization.

Participates in approved professional development opportunities per NWRDC's policy. Professional development and training is defined as learning undertaken by the employee to maintain and advance their skills, knowledge and competencies, specifically as they relate and add value to the job and workplace.

NWRDC provides support for a wide range of state and local government, as well as K-20 organizations across the State of Florida. These organizations are dependent on NWRDC in order to accomplish their missions. This requires NWRDC to maintain services 24x7, even during times of crisis or emergency. As such, all NWRDC staff are considered essential staff for operations of the State of Florida.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or a high school diploma or equivalent and four years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years.)

Preferred Qualifications

Preference given to people with experience deploying desktops using Intune.
