If this is attractive to you, we are looking to add a 3rd Shift Quality Technician to our Oxford, MS team!

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work in fast paced environment pulling samples from plant floor
  • Set up and perform multiple quality tests.
  • Layout inspection, first and last piece article
  • Accurately compile statistical data
  • Manage and maintain the Quality laboratory.
  • Prepare reports on testing results
  • Ability to read blueprints, interpretation and GD& T
  • Experience in Measurement Systems: calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, Wenzel CMM (Open DMIS) using CAD generated models
  • Gage calibration: calipers, micrometers, jo-blocks, height stands, gage masters, thread gages, attributes gages
  • Experience with SPC, APQP, PFD, PFEMA, PCP and PPAP
  • Define problems and report all issues with material to management for analysis and disposition
  • Assist in the preparation of annual and periodic Management Systems Reviews, training presentations and workshops.
  • Create Certifications of Analysis/Conformance, as required.
  • Send samples out for testing.
  • Log in test results for internal and external customers.
  • Review paperwork from the plant floor.
  • Support the internal/supplier auditing function to ISO Quality System requirements. Audit/review/approve product prior to the acceptance into finished goods inventory.
  • Other research or related activities as deemed necessary
  • Comply with all safety requirements and proper use of PPE
  • Shall adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices, such as; utilizing personal protective equipment and proper attire in keeping with safety standards.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality
  • Ability to resolve technical issues and critical problems; 8D problem solving
  • Experience with Document Control and MRB systems is desired
  • Demonstrated proficiency utilizing metrology/ inspection tools; experience with calibration systems required
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and statistical information
  • Ability to prioritize work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent verbal, listening and written communication skills
  • Excellent work record history.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint as well as current technology software familiarity.
