Responsibilities:
  • Providing services in accordance with policies and procedures and regulations that define scope of practice
  • Prepares clinical and progress notes on the relevant and specialized nursing services he/she provides
  • Administering insulin
  • Accompanying clients to doctor appoinments
  • Preparing equipment and materials for treatment, adhering to aseptic techniques as required
  • Assisting the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques as required
  • Assessing patient/family response to care
  • Ensuring communication of information to appropriate team members
Qualifications:
  • Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, currently active and in good standing
  • Reliability, professionalism, and punctuality are strict requirements
  • Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willing to travel
  • Comfortable with having a dog in the home
