POSITION SUMMARY: The Office Assistant II position involves clerical work of routine difficulty and is responsible for performing simple and repetitive clerical duties in the Finance Department.The work requires the operation of standard and electronic office equipment.This position works under the direct supervision of the Senior Accountant and indirectly to the Director of Finance.

CLOSING DATE: Until Filled

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

WORK LOCATION: City of Branson, Missouri; City Hall. This is an in office position requiring work to be performed onsite.

COMPENSATION ANDBENEFITS:The starting hourly wage is $16.14perhour and will increase to$16.79per hour after 6 months of successful probation. Please clickonthis linkfor compensation/benefits information

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING
One (1) year of experience working with the public is preferred.
One (1) year of experience in clerical work is preferred.
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with particular experience in Word and Excel.
Must be highly engaged in the department's goals and be able to work cooperatively with Finance leadership in achieving those goals.
Must possess a high degree of integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must demonstrate excellent customer service to the department's internal or external customers.
Must act safely and follow safety standards while at work.
Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.
