Job Description

Jefferson Consulting Group is seeking a Project Management Intern to support Jefferson's Human Resources Team.

The Human Resources Intern will assist the Human Resources team in various tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and other HR functions. Overview of duties

  • Provide administrative support for HR functions, including maintaining employee files, preparing HR reports, and managing HR-related databases.
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including creating new employee files, conducting orientations, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Assist in benefits administration, including managing employee benefit enrollments and responding to benefit-related inquiries.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the HRIS system, including data entry and accuracy.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of HR policies and practices.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrates good judgment including understanding of when to act, when to escalate, or when to request assistance from other staff members.

Preferred

  • Previous internship experience preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with Office 365
