Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of comprehensive HSE programs at our Paper & Board ink manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying and managing HSE risks, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and fostering a safety-conscious culture throughout the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

- Risk Management:

  - Identify and mitigate HSE risks using effective processes such as Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Management of Change (MOC).

  - Establish and manage key performance metrics and feedback systems to continually improve HSE practices.


- Safety Compliance:

  - Ensure the availability and maintenance of protective equipment and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

  - Align site security and safety measures with organizational standards.


- Training and Inspections:

  - Oversee HSE training programs and engage employees through the safety committee.

  - Conduct regular safety inspections and recommend corrective actions to prevent incidents.


- Policy Development and Implementation:

  - Develop local HSE programs in accordance with OSHA requirements.

  - Assist with the implementation and conformance of ISO and GMP standards, along with other relevant registrations.


Qualification Profile:

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in HSE management or specialist roles, preferably in a manufacturing environment.


Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.


Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage employees professionally.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with other facilities within the organization.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Team player who can identify and resolve problems collaboratively.

- Experience in problem-solving and offering alternative solutions.

- Proven ability to meet deadlines within budget constraints.

- Commitment to continuous quality improvement.
