Progressive Care Unit - Registered Nurse - Full-time

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

• 24 months of Progressive Care Unit experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with Meditech is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license prior to placement start.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Additional Details:

This is an “Auto Offer” position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be facilitated upon request. This request should be made upon submission.

Weekends and On call: Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts

Floating Area(s): ICU taking PCU type patients, PCU, Med-surg (taking 5 patients)

Must have 2 years experience in hospital setting

Must have VA license/compact at submission

Must have: Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and surgical patients and Chest tube management, epidurals

Preferred or nice to have: Teamwork ability and Time management with high turnover of patients

Type of equipment – Cardiac Telemetry, Chest tubes, Cardiac drips(NTG, Cardizem, Amiodarone), Post Cath Patients, post-surgical patients to include open heart, lung patients, general surgery patients, post op orthopedic patients that require cardiac monitoring.

Scrub Color/Attire – Navy or white, can mix or match

Maximum days off: 10 days
