Seeking for a Safety Manager with 10 years of leadership experience. A Successful candidate will have great written and oral skills, attention to detail, workers comp experience in the AG industry. We are actively seeking for a candidate with the ability to provide a multitude of safety trainings, preferably OSHA -10 and/or 30 Certified needed. Will be responsible for overseeing and managing the program while providing, accident investigations: in the event of a work related injury and/or company equipment loss, conduct an investigation to write a report detailing what occurred and recommendations for what can be done in the future.
• Workers compensation administration and reporting for Agriculture company.
• Employee Training: Manage the employee safety training program so that all training is done on in a consistent manner and on a timely basis. Conducts new hire safety training. Coordinate and conduct additional training when necessary.
• Record Keeping: Maintain all trainings, inspections, identified hazards with corrections, accident and investigations records according to our company safety policy.
• Certifications to Train: Maintain certifications to train employees on forklift, tractor and ATV, Pesticide Handling and First Aid/ CPR
• Employee Safety Program: Oversees and manages the program while providing support to all managers and supervisors that are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment in their work areas. Monitors compliance and consistent enforcement of all safety and health policies and procedures. Facilitates effective communication between management and employees.
• Safety Committee: Ensures that the company safety and health committee is operating in compliance with the state occupational safety and health regulations.
• Hazard Assessment and Correction: Conduct ongoing inspections on farms to identify and evaluate workplace hazards in accordance with our company safety program. Identify hazards and recommend solutions and ways to prevent them from reoccurring. Report findings and areas of concern to the senior management team in a timely manner and reports progress made in correcting the hazards. Great benefits.
