REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Toolmaker experience
• Experience programming and operating a CNC machine
• Proficient with Solidworks and/or Master CAM to create designs and blueprints
• Visual acuity to read blueprints and perform visual inspections

AS A TOOLMAKER...

• You will build, rework, repair, and assemble a wide variety of special purpose tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges and injection molds of original design, intricate types composed of a variety of metals and plastics.
• You will perform construction, troubleshoot, and repair activities on a wide variety of tooling, equipment, fixtures and molds.
• You will use various measuring and gauging tools to regularly inspect, clean and test all equipment, tools, and machines before, during and after molding operations to ensure they are clean, arranged and set properly to work efficiently.
• You will check equipment and modify machines as necessary to control speed, material feed, or path of cut as required to ensure a quality product is produced within specifications.
• Additional responsibilities will be assigned as related to a traditional toolmaker position.
