We are seeking a Plant Controller to become an integral part of our team! You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency. 

Responsibilities:

• Handle high-level accounting and oversee all financials
• Prepare financial statements, budgets and forecasting
• Set controls and budgets to mitigate risk and increase return on investments
• Advise on financial analyses and decision-making regarding pricing, contract negotiations, and significant costs
• Standardize and maintain a system of accounting records and techniques
• Evaluate cost accounting and ensure evaluation of cost of sales and labor costs
• Conduct internal audits to assess financial status
• Responsible for sales trends, variances and overall operational EBITDA reporting
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
• COGS deviation resolutions, review and purchasing, inventory, valuations and theoretical analysis
• Serve as primary contact for external auditors
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field of study
• 5+ years of previous experience in accounting management or other related fields
• Must have COST ACCOUNTING and inventory experience
• Fundamental knowledge of US GAAP
• Strong leadership qualities
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• ERP Implementation experience is a plus!
