Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Quality Care is seeking part-time In-Home Caregivers to join our team.

Quality Care restores independence and revitalizes our clients' lives through support services. We provide care for individuals residing independently or within their family homes. Our assistance services include:

• companionship, interpersonal connection, and emotional support
• meal preparation, such as help with cooking skills or grocery shopping
• light housekeeping and laundry
• transportation for doctor's visits and errands
• other independent living skills

We provide paid training and mileage reimbursement for client transport.

About the Role: We seek full- and part-time team members for the day, evening, and weekend shifts Monday - Sunday. Locations currently hiring in Eagan, Apple Valley, Rosemount, Burnsville, and Minneapolis MN.

As a caregiver, you will provide Individualized home support (IHS), In-Home Family Support Services (IHFS), and Supportive Employment Services (SES) to individuals living in their residences with varying levels of mental and physical health needs.

This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with flexible weekday schedules who want to get out and connect with people.

The ideal candidate will have the following traits: reliability, compassion, patience, engagement, and attention to detail. In addition, caregivers must be able to manage their time and operate independently and effectively.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should:

• be reliable, compassionate, patient, engaging, and detail-oriented.
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• 1 year customer service experience preferred
• 1 year caregiving experience preferred
• Driver's license (Required)
