This is an opportunity to lead a established service department and be part of the company's strategic plan to elevate existing management and provide additional opportunities within the company.

Service Department Director – What You Will Do:

You will be responsible for leading the Service Department team and strategic initiatives, including team, strategy, quality, department budget and results for client installations, repairs, maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Oversee and manage the team of Service Project Managers/Estimators, dispatchers, and service department technicians – motivating, performance monitoring and coaching, training and developing talent
  • Serve as the lead for Service project managers/estimators, dispatchers, and service department technicians and solving escalated troubleshooting and complex issues.
  • Develop and implement service department goals and strategies
  • Conduct job walks, understanding estimating of project costs, overseeing the teams projects, safety and quality control as well as estimating and managing your own projects.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions – keep the workforce safe and adhering to OSHA and other safety regulations
  • Ensure client service standards are maintained or improved, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients and developing new client relationships to grow the service department

A successful Service Department Director is building the service department with both new clients and talent, developing existing talent and recruiting additional talent to grow the team.

Service Technician Director – You Have (Required):

  • Prior experience in the electrical industry including holding a current electrician's license / journeyman card
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes and regulations
  • Prior experience as a service department manager – you enjoy leading, mentoring and motivating
  • Comfort using MS Word, Excel (basic spreadsheets), Outlook, McCormick Estimating software, and Foundation Accounting software.
  • Ability to successfully pass a drug test and background check prior to start date

Travel required to client job sites (limited to no overnight travel anticipated).

Your compensation is a base salary of $125,000 to $130,000 plus an incentive compensation plan based on an established formula. In addition, you will be provided with a company truck and a fuel card.
