One position is a day shift and another is open to someone seeking an afternoon shift of 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Both roles work Monday - Friday.

Purpose and Scope

The purpose of the Document Control Scanner position is to support the department by performing the scanning and electronic filing of documents that need to be saved in the system.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and prioritize files/records to be scanned with department supervisor.
  • Perform scanning of documents and save them in the specified location as outlined in the procedure/work instruction.
  • Verify accuracy of entered data and file location.
  • Verify legibility of scanned documents.
  • Ensure upon completion that original scanned documents are handled per procedure.
  • Update and maintain associated databases and tracking systems as outlined in the procedure.
  • Notify a Tolmar employee when discrepancies are found.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to complete repetitive tasks timely and correctly.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year of administrative experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Pay Rate of $16.00 - $17.00 depending on experience and shift
  • Benefits - medical insurance and company 401k plan

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work prearranged in advance.
