High Mountain Processing, a leading manufacturer of fuel pellets, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team in Walden, CO. If you are not local to the area, they will help you relocate by providing temporary housing during your first month of employment. Company housing is available for rent for the successful candidate.

What you will bring to the High Mountain Processing Team:

  • Industrial mechanical and repair experience, including pneumatics and hydraulics
  • PLC/VFD troubleshooting experience
  • Experience working with Electrical System up to 480 VAC

This position works 10-hour shifts, five days per week, of which one of those days may be during the weekend when the mill is not operating.

Responsibilities:
  • Applies knowledge of electrical/electronics and mechanical principles in maintaining, testing and repairing malfunctioning equipment.
  • Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical/electronic equipment including but not limited to programmable logic controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment.
  • Applies knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic determining equipment malfunctions and applies skills in restoring equipment to operation.
  • Dismantles and reassembles machines and fits replacement parts such as bearings, sprockets and seals.
  • Performs minor mechanical and electrical repairs on rolling stock machinery and equipment.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
