Position Overview:

Win Kids is seeking energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Coaches. As a Camp Coach, you will play a pivotal role in providing children with a dynamic and unforgettable summer camp experience. You will lead campers through weekly themes, games, activities, and adventures, creating an environment where they can learn, explore, and have fun.

Responsibilities:

• Lead Camp Activities: Plan and facilitate a variety of age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and adventures based on weekly camp themes, ensuring that each day is filled with excitement and enrichment.
• Supervise Campers: Provide constant supervision and guidance to campers, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement throughout the camp day.
• Promote Teamwork: Foster a positive and inclusive environment where campers can build friendships, develop teamwork skills, and support one another in their learning and exploration.
• Encourage Participation: Motivate campers to participate actively in all camp activities, encouraging them to try new things, challenge themselves, and embrace new experiences.
• Provide Positive Reinforcement: Recognize and celebrate campers' achievements, milestones, and contributions, fostering a sense of accomplishment and self-confidence.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure that camp areas and equipment are kept clean, organized, and safe at all times, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Communicate with Parents: Keep parents informed about their child's camp experience, sharing highlights, achievements, and any relevant updates or concerns as needed.
• Adapt to Individual Needs: Accommodate the diverse needs, interests, and abilities of campers, modifying activities and providing additional support or guidance as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children in a camp, childcare, or recreational setting preferred.
• Passion for working with children and creating positive, memorable experiences.
• Energetic, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality with a genuine love for outdoor activities and adventure.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate children of all ages.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing circumstances or needs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to the start of camp.

Hours:

• Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm (additional hours may be available for pre-camp setup or post-camp cleanup as needed)
