MUST HAVE GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING EXPERIENCE 

Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to oversee a large federal government contract for pharmaceutical drug development. You will be the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring successful project execution and exceeding expectations. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and government regulations, with a proven track record of managing large, cross-functional teams.

This role is 100% onsite in Claremont, CA and will require travel to DC for meetings. 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of the program, from startup to completion.
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
  • Serve as the company's authorized representative, maintaining a strong working relationship with the government client.
  • Oversee subcontractor work, ensuring they meet performance standards and deliver on time.
  • Manage all aspects of contract compliance and reporting, including financial and administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage all reporting activities, ensuring timely and accurate submissions to the FDA and other government agencies.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks, and develop solutions.
  • Effectively manage and resolve conflicts with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Regularly brief senior leadership on program status and milestones.
  • Utilize project management tools like Gantt charts to maintain project visibility.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher (science or engineering preferred) with 8-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and/or drug manufacturing industry.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience working with federal government contracts and clients.
  • Proven track record of leading customer engagement, technical management, and business development.
  • PMP certification a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management, external agencies, and vendors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management software like MS Project.
