Client Summary:
Our client is a charitable nonprofit health care organization and a regional leader in physician training, with approximately 266 medical residents and fellows in 15 nationally accredited programs at its hospitals in Elmer, Mullica Hill and Vineland.

Summary of Need:
  • Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Appropriately positioning patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
  • Performing regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
  • Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients.
  • Correctly interpreting doctors' written scanning instructions.
  • Administering radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
  • Explaining scanning procedures to patients and providing reassurance and support as required.

Notes from the Client:

  • Shift is every Wed/Thurs/Fri 3p-1130p and every other weekend 12 hour shift 630p-7a. Work week is Sun-Sat.
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week
  • Will offer 13 to 26 weeks. Manager prefers 26 weeks...
  • 2 years of experience required...
  • RTO due at time of submission...

  • Will work some holidays...
  • NJDEP and ARRT(CT) required...
  • BLS required - must have in hand at time of submission...
  • Experience with Philips Equipment is preferred...
