Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for efficiently moving, loading, and unloading materials using various material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Your primary focus will be on completing material movement tasks within the facility and grounds, ensuring accuracy, safety, and adherence to standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack to move materials throughout the facility.
• Fulfill production requests by pulling specific bottle and can equipment as needed.
• Secure and wrap outbound loads to ensure safe transport, and attach proper documentation.
• Load and unload trailers to support operations, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and using handheld devices for load accountability.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip checks on equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
• Review daily documentation for accuracy and maintain a neat and clutter-free work area.
• Assist with staging equipment and other movements, including junking equipment and yard maintenance.
• Open and close truck dock doors and secure docks as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Proven experience operating forklifts and/or pallet jacks.
• Ability to safely and proficiently operate material handling equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering heavy loads.
• Flexibility to work shifts as required.
