Junior Production Artist

Nassau Candy is a premier importer, manufacturer and distributor of specialty confections, fine foods, and promotional products.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Junior Production Artist to join our amazing team on site in Hicksville!

This is a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, and you must be extremely detail oriented and self-motivated to meet quick turnaround times and deadlines. The Junior Production Artist will have a steady workload to be completed daily in a timely manner, increasing during peak season, so the ability to manage multiple projects is essential.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Proficient in the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop)
• Ability to work with Illustrator / Photoshop adjustment layers, drawing accurate paths
• Experience in color correction and/or promotional products is a plus.
• Must be able to determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy to be used on product templates.
• Skilled in designing and producing high resolution press ready artwork, including image cleaning and retouching.
• Creating digital renderings of our product line for virtual purposes
• Flexibility to handle a challenging work environment, especially during busy season
• Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.
• Strong work ethic, detail driven and self-motivated is a must.
• Strong communication to discuss artwork with Customer Service and / or Customers
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
