Packaging Operator

My name is David, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group.  We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Packaging Operator for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in ­­Newark, DE. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Description:

• Hourly Rate on W2: $21.29 - 23.42/hr. (Based on Shift)
• 1st shift - Mon-Thurs 5:00am-3:30pm/ 6:50am-3:20pm
• 2nd Shift 2:50pm-11:20pm
• 3rd shift 10:50pm-7:20am also available.
• Adhere to cGMP, SOP, and site safety procedures in order to operate, assemble, disassemble, and clean essential pharmaceutical manufacturing and testing equipment.
• Effectively communicate with management, peers, and other support areas to ensure effective operations, as well as identify and improve on applicable standards.
• Provide clear written documentation on all production related activities, as well as event responses, in applicable systems.
• Use Lean practices and tools. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and use a pallet jack.
• Must be able to wear PAPR, steel-toed shoes, and safety glasses for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Experience in a production environment
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical cGMP's
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills
• Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills
• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
