Job Description

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience while maintaining the efficiency of our office operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and check-in patients and visitors upon their arrival, creating a positive first impression.
- Offer assistance to patients, answering their inquiries and directing them as needed.
- Distribute necessary forms and paperwork, meticulously reviewing them to ensure all required information is completed accurately.
- Collect patient co-pays and provide financial assistance when necessary.
- Handle incoming phone calls and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage inventory of essential office supplies and coordinate reordering as needed to maintain smooth daily operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring our medical office presents a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a certificate program in the medical field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly experience with ECW, is a plus.
- 1+ years of experience working as an administrative assistant or in a relevant role.
- Proficiency in medical terminology to effectively communicate and assist patients.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, as we serve a diverse patient population.
