Job Description

EP!C is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of adult individuals with behavioral challenges. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing behavior intervention plans, and overseeing the implementation of evidence-based strategies to promote positive behavior change as well as skill acquisition and maintenance of skills for our individuals.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behavior.

Develop and implement individualized behavior support plans (BSPs) based on assessment findings.

Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior staff and other team members as needed.

Collaborate with parents, guardians, ISC’s, interdisciplinary team and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and consistent approach to behavior support.

Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans through observation, data collection and analysis.

Adjust and modify intervention strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes at least twice per year.

Ensure billable services are documented and submitted in accordance with standards provided by EP!C, regarded by the BACB.

Maintain minimum monthly billable requirement.

Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) including continuing education.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall treatment planning process.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, data analysis and progress notes.

Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and standards of practice in behavior analysis.

Personal and Professional Development

Participate in professional development and training opportunities required by EPIC not limited to CPR, First Aid, CPI, etc.

Flexible schedules so that individuals may receive services in all areas of life including home, employment, day program, etc.

Maintain CEU requirements every 2 years paid for by EPIC.

Supervisory training as required by the position.

Marginal Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned.

As a mandated reporter ensures all allegations, abuse, and neglect are reported as required.

Education/Experience Requirements

Qualified applicants are required to have a current BCBA certification.

Preferred minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the field of ABA as a BCBA

Medicaid knowledge preferred

Desire and ability to work under supervision and cooperatively with a treatment team

3+ years’ experience in the social service field and at least 1 year in a mental health program preferred.

3+ years’ experience with persons with developmental disabilities preferred.

Minimum of 1 year supervisory/managerial experience preferred

Valid Driver’s License and proof of automobile insurance

Work Environment

Work may occur in the following settings: Home, Office, Classroom, Site, Group Homes, or Community.

Be a team player with a positive attitude towards the people EP!C supports, peers, EP!C staff and outside contacts.

May be required to work extended shifts and/or be called upon for emergencies.
