RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Code/configure, test, implement, and document solutions, adhering to design specifications.
  • Conduct all aspects of applications programming, including coding, testing, debugging, documentation, maintenance, and modification.
  • Articulate the technical vision for features/initiatives and ensure their delivery through high-quality development.
  • Leverage modern cloud-first technologies to establish efficient processes.
  • Collaborate effectively and influence peers and senior leadership.
  • Proficiently extract, analyze, and report data with attention to detail.
  • Strategically consider the long-term impacts of design decisions and manage failure scenarios adeptly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate new software tools.
  • Make commitments to overall deliverables with customers and management.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in building distributed systems.
  • Advanced understanding of processes contributing to software reliability, maintainability, security, simplicity, performance, and testability.
  • Demonstrated success in defining and implementing software refactoring improvements.
  • Deep knowledge of maintaining and debugging live software systems.
  • Understanding of issues in delivering, deploying, and supporting product suites.
  • Ability to grasp new areas and adapt to changes.
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic .NET (Windows Forms applications), Visual Studio IDE, Windows protocols (RDP), and Database technologies, preferably MySQL.
  • Experience with PHP and PHP frameworks preferred.
  • Experience with the AWS Cloud Ecosystem.
  • Knowledge and experience in the payments industry, particularly Stripe, preferred.
