Live-in Companion (TLC-AP-GCT-04)

Live in Companion with HHA, LPN or CNA background

Schedule:Monday - Friday 24 hr. coverage

This is for 6-month period.

Location:Greenwich, CT

Accommodations: Private bed and bath.

Hourly:$30/hr.

Overview:

An elderly client is seeking a trustworthy, friendly, and reliable domestic nurse for herself. The Caregiver should be neat, compassionate, and discreet with the flexibility to work with a team. Candidate should have experience with the elderly, demonstrating competence, judgment, and discretion.

Duties:

• Provide assistance and companionship as requested
• Keep a watchful eye on the client while preserving their feeling of independence
• Light cooking, and occasional laundry as needed
• Help with some dressing, washing hair and moving around apt.
• Help with walker and wheelchair
• Make sure medication is taken
• Dog care (Cavalier King Charles)

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a companion or in a similar position
• Excellent references
• Nursing degree
• Driver a plus
• Non-smoker
• Dog friendly
