Position Summary: 

The runner position is responsible for making deliveries and runs for the shop as directed. The runs could consist of local runs as well as over the road runs. This position would require operating a company vehicle. Company guidelines and policies are strictly enforced. The parts runner will be required to assists with warehouse duties as needed.

Essential Functions:

• Deliver and make runs for the shop and office, as directed
• Deliver and make runs to customers as directed
• Verify all orders obtained from vendors
• Communicate with Expeditor and Receiving personnel for a proper staging area for deliveries.
• Communicate with Buyers regarding any discrepancies when picking up orders
• Assists with loading and unloading trucks as needed
• Assists with checking in deliveries as needed
• Assists with placing inventory into locations as directed
• Assists with parts deliveries within the warehouse/shop as directed
• Assists with replenishing vending machines with consumables/PPE

• Empty warehouse garbage cans daily
• Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse and parts area; all items off the floor and sweep daily
• Other duties as assigned by management

Educational Requirements / Qualifications:

• Must have a current valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Pass a background check
• Pass drug screening
