Job Description
Position Summary (Purpose of job):
This position will be responsible for performing month end closing, following up with audit requests, maintaining accounting ledgers, conducting transaction reconciliation, provide invoice/expense report analysis, assist with invoice processing, etc. The position requires the employee to multitask, work independently as well as part of a team in some situations, meet deadlines, etc.

Responsible for maintaining records by accurately recording day to day financial transactions and maintaining complete filing system to support financial records

Prepare checks, payments and bank deposits, credit card, bank, cash deposit, and bank statement reconciliations

Check and verify source documents such as invoices & receipts employee expense reports and assist with semimonthly payroll as needed

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Education/Training –
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years in Accounting, Financial systems, Budgets, Reporting, Data Analysis, Auditing, Taxation and Advice and Month End Close experience
- General knowledge of accounting principles and theory and bookkeeping practices
Business Experience -
- Must be bilingual Korean / English (both verbal and written)
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask with multiple projects
- Strong business written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to demonstrate teamwork, leadership and flexibility while working with all levels of the organization
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion
- Proficient in using QuickBooks, Excel
- Good mathematical and analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment and find create solutions
- ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Specialized Knowledge/Skills –
- Exceptional Office Technology Skills (Quickbooks online, Microsoft Office Suite and business applications)
- Experience working with Quickbooks online and Bank of America CashPro is plus, but not required
- Ability to work required extended hours to meet departmental pressures and deadlines
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations
- Plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects
- Demonstrated competency in both oral and written modes for internal and external personnel at all levels
- Work independently and in a team environment in order to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits
Working Conditions:
Environment (Office, warehouse, etc.) –
- Operate a computer keyboard, telephone and view a video display terminal more than 90% of work time.
- Visual acuity, color distinction, and numeric and character detail distinction for the analysis and preparation of statistical reports and information.
Physical Requirements (Lifting, standing, etc.) –
- Lift, move, or adjust general office equipment, boxes, or materials weighing up to 50 pounds using proper materials handling equipment and procedures.
- Occasionally work additional hours beyond normal schedule
- Individual must possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
