Are you an experienced with ammonia or a ammonia refrigeration technician professional looking for a job where your knowledge and experience can make a big impact? Look no further! Villari Foods is currently seeking an Ammonia Refrigeration technician to join our team in Warsaw, North Carolina.

 

At Villari Brothers Food, the Ammonia Refrigeration Technician will perform preventive maintenance on all parts of ammonia refrigeration systems to assure all equipment is working safely and properly. Initiate work orders and perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to SOP guidelines.

 

Job duties:


  • Perform daily rounds and checks of ammonia and glycol systems.
  • Pipework with evaporators inside and outside of the processing plant.
  • Assist with mechanical breakdowns and repairs.
  • Complete preventive maintenance on all equipment.



To qualify for this job, you must have:

  • Ability to upkeep records and complete daily logs.     
  • Understand and follow all plant safety, health, and process regulations.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of ammonia operations experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from personnel and outside company.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited direction exists.
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or other forms.
  • Excellent communications skills, ability to handle multiple tasks, organize, and prioritize workload, excellent internal customer service skills.


We’d also love it if you have:

  • Meat processing experience is a plus.
  • Prefer IIAR basic ammonia course, RETA Book 2 or equivalent. Willing to train future candidate if hired.
