Temporary Support Staff Pool

The Michelle Martin Group is working on behalf of our client, a university in the Northern Virginia area, to identify qualified candidates for various temporary positions across the University. These positions fall under the University-wide department and are available on both part-time and full-time bases.

Our in-house agency recruits qualified candidates continuously, placing them in temporary roles based on departmental needs. The positions vary in length, and we may not be able to post every opportunity. This application serves as the first step for consideration in our current temp openings, and applicants will be contacted as positions become available.

Qualifications:

Experience, education, and physical requirements vary based on the specific temporary role. However, most positions require:

• Prior Administrative/Office Management experience
• Prior Financial/Accounting experience
• Professional customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to operate standard office equipment
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Working as a temporary employee is an excellent way to broaden your skillset into various fields. While these roles are temporary, some may transition into permanent positions.
