Job Title: Director of Provider Compensation
Job Description:
Vaco is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Provider Compensation. The Director of Provider Compensation will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of provider compensation within our clients organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provider Compensation Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive provider compensation strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives. Ensure compensation plans are competitive, compliant, and support the recruitment and retention of top talent.
  2. Compensation Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of provider compensation data to evaluate the effectiveness of existing compensation plans and identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor market trends and benchmarks to ensure our compensation packages remain competitive.
  3. Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with legal, finance, and operational teams to negotiate provider contracts and agreements, including compensation terms, incentive structures, and performance metrics. Ensure contracts are compliant with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  4. Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processes related to provider compensation, including processing payments, deductions, and bonuses accurately and on time. Collaborate with payroll and HR teams to address any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  5. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing provider compensation. Develop and implement controls to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  6. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with providers, department leaders, and key stakeholders to understand their compensation needs and address any concerns or inquiries promptly. Serve as a trusted advisor and resource on compensation matters.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in provider compensation required.
  3. 5+ years of experience in a managerial or supervisory role, with demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively.
  4. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, payroll software, and enterprise accounting systems required.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build consensus.
  7. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
