Our client located in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Workforce Scheduling Manager to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career and join a dynamic team in the healthcare industry!

The Workforce Scheduling Manager is a direct opportunity, with a preferably onsite schedule, but will consider fully remote!

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain optimized staff schedules based on historical data, service level objectives, and staffing requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations and other relevant stakeholders to understand business needs and align scheduling strategies to support organizational goals for both clinical and non-clinical populations.
  • Analyze complex ideas or proposals and build a range of meaningful recommendations.
  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop solutions and recommendations.
  • Monitor and analyze scheduling trends, identifying opportunities for improvement, and making recommendations to drive enhanced workforce productivity and efficiency.
  • Work alongside HR to develop strategic initiatives actively manage staff allocation.
  • Utilize workforce management software to forecast volumes, analyze schedule demand, organizational drivers, and ensure appropriate scheduling levels achieved .
  • Lead the development and implementation of scheduling policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor laws and company regulations by geography.
  • Measure, track and report on scheduling performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with multiple levels of stakeholders align on scheduling goal and outcomes for the organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry leading practices and emerging technologies in workforce scheduling and management and implement relevant advancements to enhance operational efficiencies

Qualifications:
  • UKG Pro WFM (UKG Pro Workforce Management) required. Will also consider "Dimensions" as this program was formerly named this. These are all Kronos based programs
  • Healthcare required (typically these type candidates have done hospital scheduling for nurses...not call centers)
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience with a minimum of 5 years working in a workforce management role, with a focus on enterprise scheduling.
  • Expertise in utilizing workforce management tools and software to develop and derive scheduling logic to support forecast and analyze workload demand at an enterprise level.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound decisions based on forecasting and scheduling trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex scheduling and forecasting information to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, regulations, and leading practices related to employee scheduling and workforce management
  • Kronos/ UKG AND/OR Scheduling Experience
    • If you do not have scheduling experience, you MUST have Kronos or UKG experience on your resume and at least be familiar with scheduling tools.
  • Healthcare (hospital Acute, behavioral health, inpatient rehab, nursing, palliative care, etc.)
    • Needs to understand healthcare operations or be able to speak with clinical staff members.
