Summary Manage day to day operations of shop floor by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Manage all ongoing jobs to ensure on time delivery.
• Work with shop employees to improve quality and efficiency (including design and manufacturing).
• Communicate with customers for support and to resolve issues.
• Manage/schedule workload for shop for inventory/stock items.
• Manage inventory of standard manufactured products.
• Project management: Follow jobs through entire process of manufacturing and assembly. Close communication with engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly.
• Directs preparation of directives to division or department administrator outlining policy, program, or
• operation changes to be implemented.
• Communicate with employees regarding vacations, personal time off, and issues.
• Coordinate with General Manager on day to day operations, efficiency and performance of shop floor.
• Provides hands on support and backs up Tool Maker as needed.

Requirements:

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Minimum 10 years' experience in manual and CNC machining and programming.
• Minimum 10 years' experience managing employees.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills and be able to communicate effectively with customers and across all levels of the organization.
• Project management experience.
• Mastercam experience a plus.
• Ability to schedule shop workload.

Compensation details: 85000-90000 Yearly Salary
