Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in machining, fabricating, and using various tools and equipment to produce precision parts.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate conventional and CNC machines such as lathes, mills, and electrical discharge machines
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to fabricate parts within specified tolerances
- Utilize software for design and programming
- Perform quality checks using tools like calipers and GD&T to ensure parts meet specifications
- Adhere to Lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes
-Reading blueprints and measuring
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role
- Proficiency in operating hand tools and machinery
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail
- Experience with lathe operations and electrical discharge machining is preferred
