The Shipping Clerk will work in the shipping department helping to package, coordinate, and distribute incoming and outgoing shipments.

Take Time Off

Once you’re hired, you’ll receive 44 hours of paid time off. After your six-month anniversary, you’ll earn an additional 60 hours of PTO. What are the Responsibilities?

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to all Walker Tape safety policies and procedures
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to identify products and packages
• Check quality of products while picking and packing
• Pull correct quantities of product for shipping
• Scan, count, and verify orders are accurately filled
• Prepare, track, maintain, and update the status and records of outgoing shipments
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical, material, or product issues
• Enter daily activity information into logs or computer platforms
• Coordinate with delivery drivers to pick up shipments from the warehouse
• Liaise with operations and logistics to ensure shipments are completed as scheduled
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Ability to be comfortable in an environment with load noise and with moving mechanical parts

• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Responsibilities are not limited to what is listed above experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for a long duration
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to be comfortable in an environment with loud noise and with moving mechanical parts
