As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality education and support to students in a nurturing setting focused on both learning and healing.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field

Licensure/Certification

Teacher I:

  • Missouri Department of Education Substitute Certification or actively working towards acquiring certification.

Teacher II:

  • State of Missouri License to teach.
  • Special Education Certification; Learning Behavior Specialist Endorsement

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years old to apply
  • Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required
  • Valid driver's license
  • Valid auto insurance
